First by the parser that files it, then by the recruiter who gives it a few seconds. We check it against ten groups of markers taken from recruiter studies and career-office guidance, and tell you exactly what to change.

"75% of CVs are rejected by bots before a human sees them."

of 25 US recruiters interviewed said their system does not auto-reject for format or keywords. The 75% figure traces back to an unsourced 2012 sales pitch.

"A CV must never go past one page."
Tap to see the data
In a matched experiment, recruiters were 2.3 times as likely to pick two-page CVs (5,375 of 7,712 picks). The condition: two full pages, never one and a half.

"The ATS decides. Beat the robot and you're in."

The ATS is mostly a searchable database. The real filter is volume: many recruiters read in order of arrival and pause a post once they have enough. Apply within 48 hours.

In eye-tracking work on recruiters, the first fit call took about six seconds, and CVs that passed were read for far longer. That first pass follows the same path almost every time:
Source: TheLadders eye-tracking study (2012, about 30 recruiters). If any of these takes more than about two seconds to find, the CV fails the scan. Our section B tests for it.
Start with the $2 scan. If it shows a parsing failure, we will tell you plainly that a repair won't be enough. Secure card payment.

Any fail in A means the CV must be rebuilt, because the parser can't read it. Fails in B, C or E mean you won't be found or shortlisted. Everything else is quality, fixed in order.
Drop your CV and the job ad. The free preview shows your score and what the parser sees.
Pay $2 for the full audit: every marker, why it matters and the exact fix.
Fix it yourself, repair it in the $5 studio, or rebuild it on a premium template for $15.
Send it within 48 hours of the posting, with LinkedIn saying the same thing.
No one can promise that, and anyone who does is selling the 75% myth. Most systems don't auto-reject; they store and search. We make sure your CV parses cleanly and turns up when a recruiter searches the job's own terms, then that it survives the first human look.
Four sub-scores feed the signal score. ATS readability checks layout, headings and contact details. Recruiter impact checks dates, evidence in bullets, your summary, AI-styled wording and length. Job fit compares your CV with the job ad: title, key terms, years, degree, languages, certifications and location. Market fit applies the conventions of the market where the job is. Job fit counts most: a polished CV aimed at the wrong role scores low, and so does a well-aimed CV a parser can't read. Heavy use of words recruiters flag as AI-written lowers the score.

No. The $2 scan reads the file inside your browser. For a repair or rebuild, you send us the CV once you've ordered, and we use it only for that work.
It is reliable on structure: columns, headings, dates, contact details, numbers, buzzwords and keyword match. It can't judge whether your best achievement is really your best. The $5 and $15 studios help you fix that yourself, with the score updating as you edit.
Under about five years of experience, one full page. Mid-career, two full pages, with page two at least two-thirds full. Never a page and a half. Gulf and academic CVs can run longer.
It depends on the market. Leave it out for the US and UK. In the Gulf it is expected, and it is common in Lebanon, Germany and France. If you include one, place it inline in the body, not in a header or text box. The scan checks this against the market you choose.
Text-based PDF and DOCX, or pasted text. A scanned or image-only PDF will fail the parsing check, and an ATS would struggle with it too.
